Great post!I do think your 4 pitfall iopnts could be condensed into a couple of sentences. Don't believe in the Silver Bullet . The vendor who walks in states that their BPM tool will fix all your business issues, probably has no clue as to what Business Process Management actually is. BPM is really a business philosophy, a business acumen, it doesn't come in a box, it doesn't come in a tool.It comes in having a process driven organization, that partners with IT and HR to find efficiencies and equilibrium on whats best for the company and the customer. If you cannot achieve something resembling that balance, your company cannot succeed in today's market.
